The International Network of Algerian Scientists (INAS) invites you to attend an online meeting entitled:

� “The Quantum Technology Revolution and its Prospects in the Arab World”.

� Quantum technology is one of the most prominent scientific developments of our time, as it relies on the principles of quantum mechanics, a branch of physics that studies the behavior of matter and energy on atomic and subatomic scales, to provide innovative solutions that exceed the capabilities of traditional systems. Its main fields include quantum computing, quantum encryption for communications, and quantum sensing. Its potential applications range from accelerating complex calculations, to improving digital security, and creating a qualitative leap in fields such as medicine, defense, transportation, and energy.

� In light of this rapid global progress, the meeting raises a fundamental question: How can the Arab world benefit from the quantum technology revolution in promoting scientific innovation and development?

� We will be in a live discussion with a group of Algerian experts: * Dr. Hamza Labied, Researcher in Quantum Sensing Technologies, Rutherford National Laboratory for Space Technology – Oxford. * Dr. Mohamed Taha Rouabah, Research Professor in Quantum Information Theory, University of Constantine. * Dr. Nassim Mohammadi, Visiting Researcher at Stockholm University.

Every year, INAS organizes an annual meeting that includes all its members. Since gathering all the members residing worldwide in person would be impossible, the meeting will be online.

How could the fusion of Artificial Intelligence and Geoscience unlock new horizons and optimize the utilization of our geological resources? We are excited to announce that the International Network of Algerian Scientists, under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Amrouche and the young researcher Mr. Imad Laouici, is launching a new project entitled “AI in Geosciences“. 

To kick off this exciting venture, Mr. Imad Laouici will host a webinar providing insights into AI, its applications in geosciences, and the potential of this new project.

Imad’s global academic journey from Ouargla University to the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies in Kazan, Russia, and his current role as a young researcher at the French Geological Survey brings a wealth of international experience to this innovative project.

تمتد الرحلة الأكاديمية العالمية لعماد من جامعة ورقلة إلى معهد الجيولوجيا وتقنيات البترول في قازان، روسيا، ثم إلى هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الفرنسية، أين يشغل دوره الحالي كباحث شاب. إن خبرته الدولية ستضفي مزيدا من الثراء لهذا المشروع المبتكر.

تطلق الشبكة العالمية للعلماء الجزائريين إيناس حملة جمع تبرّعات لصالح المسابقة الوطنية لمشاريع تخرج الهندسة المعمارية 2023. تهدف المسابقة إلى توجيه الطلبة الجامعيين لربط التصميم المعماري بالهوية الثقافية ورفع الوعي للاهتمام بعمارة جزائرية تجمع بين الأصالة والمعاصرة. سوف يتم تكريم المشاريع الفائزة خلال شهر نوفمبر القادم ليتزامن مع ذكرى ثورة نوفمبر المجيدة. إن أي مبلغ تقدمونه سوف يكون من شأنه الرفع من قيمة الجائزة ودعم التمسك بالهوية الجزائرية في مدننا.

The use of VR in architecture & Interior Design | ورشة استخدام الواقع الافتراضي في العمارة والتصميم الداخلي

Introduction 

Virtual reality has opened up new horizons in the construction industry by offering a wide range of applications. Its use in marketing architectural projects enhances customer engagement and boosts the company’s profits. Moreover, VR helps architecture students to comprehend the spatial dimensions of a project, and architects to understand project data and cater to client requirements in a more realistic manner. 

To further explore the possibilities of this technology, the Architectural Committee at INAS is hosting a workshop conducted by Engineer Bilal Dridi. During the program, trainees will learn about the practical applications of virtual reality through hands-on experience with three software: Sketchup, Enscape, and 3DVista. 

Workshop details: 

The workshop is a total of 4 hours and will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 16th and 17th, 2023, at 7:00 PM (Algerian time). Both sessions will be live-streamed on the Teams app 

Participation Requirements: 

  1. Participants must download (Teams) application. 
  2. Participants are expected to attend on time. 
  3. Participants must attend both sessions in full, using their full name and surname. Those who use false names will be considered as absent. 
  4. Participants must complete the required exercises and testby the designated deadline. 

Successful participants will receive a certificate of participation from the International Network of Algerian Scientists (INAS).

يفتح استخدام الواقع الافتراضي في مجال البناء آفاقا جديدة واستخدامات متعددة. ففي مجال تسويق المشاريع المعمارية، يسمح الواقع الافتراضي للزبون بأن يتجوّل افتراضيا في المشروع، مما يطوّر أرباح الشركة. وفي التعليم المعماري، يساعد تخيل المشروع طلبة على إدراك الحيز الفراغي. وفي عملية التصميم، يساعد المهندس المعماري لكي يحيط بكامل معطيات المشروع ويستجيب لاحتياجات الزبون بطريقة أكثر واقعية. تماشيا مع التقدم التكنولوجي الحاصل في هذا المجال، تنظم لجنة الهندسة المعمارية لدى إيناس ورشة تدريبية يقدمها المهندس بلال دريدي. فمن خلال البرنامج الذي يستعرض أمثلة واقعية، سوف يشاهد المتدربون تطبيقات هذه التقنية من خلال ثلاث برامج هي: Sketchup, Enscape, 3DVista
