احتضنت إيناس من خلال فريق العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية الجلسات النقاشية لمشروع “واقع الأسرة الجزائرية، التحديات والتوجهات المستقبلية”. شاركت فيها ثلة من الباحثين الجزائريين المقيمين داخل الوطن وخارجه، بقيادة د. بدران بن لحسن، د. إبراهيم بوزيداني. د. محمد أمين حسيني،  تخللت هذه الجلسات مناقشات عميقة حول واقع الأسرة الجزائرية من مختلف جوانبها. تلقى هذا المشروع 65 مداخلة متنوعة، غطت المجالات الثقافية، التربوية، النفسية، والقانونية. كان الهدف من المداخلات القيام بعصف ذهني لأهم الاشكالات التي تواجه الاسرة الجزائرية، وذلك تحضيرا لمراحل متطورة لاحقة للمشروع.

ككل عام دأبت إيناس على تنظيم لقاء سنوي يضمّ أعضاءها من مختلف المشاريع واللجان. ولأنّه من المستحيل جمع كل الأعضاء المقيمين في شتى أنحاء العالم حضوريًا، فإن اللقاء سيكون عبر الإنترنت مباشرة.

في هذا اللقاء سنستعرض التقرير الأدبي والمالي للسنة المنقضية، ونتذكر أهم الإنجازات المشرفة التي أحرزتها مشاريع إيناس، ونوجّه الشكر لمن جعل هذه السنة استثنائية! كما يتضمن برنامج اللقاء مفاجآت أخرى سنكشف عنها قريبا.

Every year, INAS organizes an annual meeting that includes all its members. Since gathering all the members residing worldwide in person would be impossible, the meeting will be online.

In this meeting, we will review last year’s chairman’s and treasurer’s report, remember the most important honorable achievements achieved by INAS projects, and thank those who made this year exceptional!

The meeting program also includes other surprises that we will reveal soon.

تعتبر هذه التقنية من مواضيع الساعة المثيرة للجدل، والتي تعرف كتقنية حاسوبية تحاكي الذكاء البشري في أداء المهام، ويمكنها أن تحسن نفسها ذاتيا استنادًا إلى المعلومات التي تجمعها. يُستخدم مصطلح “الذكاء الاصطناعي” إلى جانب مصطلحات فرعية كـ”التعلم الآلي (ML)” و”التعلم العميق”💻. بفضل قدرته على معالجة وفهم البيانات بشكل لا يمكن لأي إنسان تحقيقه، فإن الذكاء الاصطناعي يرفع من إنتاجية المؤسسات عن طريق أتمتة العمليات. أما من جانب آخر، فإنه يطرح تحديات مختلفة على البشرية، لما يملك من تأثير جذري على أساليب العمل والتفكير، وتهديده بانقراض بعض الوظائف وتوليد أخرى، وكذلك قدرته على التضليل وإصدار الأخبار الزائفة.

How could the fusion of Artificial Intelligence and Geoscience unlock new horizons and optimize the utilization of our geological resources? We are excited to announce that the International Network of Algerian Scientists, under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Amrouche and the young researcher Mr. Imad Laouici, is launching a new project entitled “AI in Geosciences“. 

To kick off this exciting venture, Mr. Imad Laouici will host a webinar providing insights into AI, its applications in geosciences, and the potential of this new project.

Imad’s global academic journey from Ouargla University to the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies in Kazan, Russia, and his current role as a young researcher at the French Geological Survey brings a wealth of international experience to this innovative project.

تمتد الرحلة الأكاديمية العالمية لعماد من جامعة ورقلة إلى معهد الجيولوجيا وتقنيات البترول في قازان، روسيا، ثم إلى هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الفرنسية، أين يشغل دوره الحالي كباحث شاب. إن خبرته الدولية ستضفي مزيدا من الثراء لهذا المشروع المبتكر.

تطلق الشبكة العالمية للعلماء الجزائريين إيناس حملة جمع تبرّعات لصالح المسابقة الوطنية لمشاريع تخرج الهندسة المعمارية 2023. تهدف المسابقة إلى توجيه الطلبة الجامعيين لربط التصميم المعماري بالهوية الثقافية ورفع الوعي للاهتمام بعمارة جزائرية تجمع بين الأصالة والمعاصرة. سوف يتم تكريم المشاريع الفائزة خلال شهر نوفمبر القادم ليتزامن مع ذكرى ثورة نوفمبر المجيدة. إن أي مبلغ تقدمونه سوف يكون من شأنه الرفع من قيمة الجائزة ودعم التمسك بالهوية الجزائرية في مدننا.

Solar Energy

Two webinars, held on May 14 and June 11, 2023, have provided valuable insights into the future of solar energy. Idriss Bedja, a professor at King Saud University, KSA, led an engaging webinar on “Third Generation of Solar Cells: Nanotechnology Based Quantum-Dots Solar Cells.” The webinar explored the latest advancements in nanotechnology and the potential of quantum dot-based solar cells. 

Quantum dots, tiny semiconductor particles, have the ability to absorb a wide range of light and convert it into energy, making them a promising alternative to traditional silicon solar cells. Dr. Bedja highlighted breakthroughs achieved with Lead halide perovskite-based quantum dots (PQDs). 

Mechanical Properties of Metals

On June 4, 2023, and June 18, 2023, Dr. Malek Brahimi presented two webinars on standard test procedures for common materials, particularly metals, highlighting basic mechanical properties and illustrating the effect of testing conditions on test data, specifically the stress-strain curve. The presentation also provided a background and experience in material testing. 

The revolutionary transformation of material testing and design occurred with the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, allowing for optimized exploration of new materials while reducing time, cost, and human effort in conventional trial-and-error methods.

Introduction to Optimization Methods

Dr.Mourad Zirour presented two webinars on “Introduction to Optimization Methods,” which took place on May 28 and June 25, 2023. 

The two sessions covered the mathematical techniques used in operational research to select the best element based on specific criteria. Participants explored the definitions and applications of optimization methods in computer science, engineering, operations research, and economics. The introduction was divided into two sessions, providing a comprehensive understanding of these methods.
